Meisselbach Amateur Trolling Reel?
I have a pair of Meissellbach trolling reels a #15 Vertical with a 4 5/8 spool diameter and 1 inch measurement from spool edge to the inside post. No click or drag as described by Phil Whites book. The second one is identical spool no click or drag but it's a side mount reel. What's puzzling is the book does not recognize a side mount with no click or drag. The #1,#5,and #9 are all side mount Amateur Trolling reels with a click mechanism. So, what do I have?

The Amateur #1 came without a drag and with a drag. Same size as the #15 you mention. Your second reel may be an Amateur #1.
