Pflueger 33 Spinning Reel Info Request
Anyone have any information about the Pflueger 33 Spinning reel regarding when it was produced, who made it, did Pflueger ever do much to market it? I could not find anything on this reel within Reel Talk, our library Pflueger catalogs and schematics, or Ben Wright's books. I would also like to locate a schematic if anyone has it.

Re: Pflueger 33 Spinning Reel Info Request
The Pflueger 33 was made/offered in the early 1970s & most likely made by Omori of Japan.
Pflueger was bought by Shakespeare in 1966 and operated under its own name until 1969 when it became the Pflueger Division of Shakespeare. Shakespeare underwent a lot of changes throughout the 1960s, including forming Norris Shakespeare, buying with S Allcocks, JW Young, M Lee, Top Tackle, etc., and buying Southern Tackle in 1972. Shakespeare also began working with Omori of Japan in 1970.
Omori made many of the Diamond reel models. Southern Tackle was the US distributor for Diamond reels. Omori also made a lot of similar looking reels for other companies, including the "Classic" series' for South Bend in the late '60s & early '70s. A few of the Omori made reels, specifically the 900 series SB Classics, are worm gear driven.
If you open it up and we can take a peek inside maybe we can connect it to a similar circa Omori made UL that has an available schematic.
*As a note, a lot of what I referenced was gleaned from Ben's last (2011) Wright Guide. The Shakespeare/Pflueger connection gets kind of complicated so it takes a lot of back and forth research. Also, Omori made reels for a lot of different companies so connecting those dots also requires a lot of in depth study, reading and in hand experience.

Dears,
following Bryce advice I post this few images related to "the piece of rust" I recovered few months ago from my father in law cellar. Some parts have been rebuilt like springs, bail and felt shim, so it's not 100% original. Moreover is not painted yet... old paint has been dissolved by the passage of time.
I hope this documents can be useful to others passionate.
thanks a lot for your ospitality.

Thank you Elvo for your original inquiry via the ORCA website, and for your post here to share your diagram and photos. It is nice to see your reel getting a restoration!

Looks like Elvo created his own schematic.
