MONTAGUE No 584-1/2 SENATE FISHING REEL

Post by klonder »

Does anyone have any info/pics/cat cuts regarding the MONTAGUE No 584-1/2 "SENATE REEL" ? I have a pristine No.484, id'd via my limited Monty catalogues, that came with the box for the Senate. I would expect if the reel was a Senate, it would be marked accordingly. Thanks for your help.

Reel does not look the same, but don’t know that they didn’t vary over time.

Thanks John.
I figure I got a 484 in a 545-1/2 box. Happens all the time I suspect.
By way of varification, the 545-1/2 is catalogued as a quad and the reel I got is a 2X hence a 484 in the same cat.
