donated something to the Library lately?
We need to build our Library up so others can have a place to go and find information for research. We do have a lot buy can always use more. Go to the Library list and see if you are holding something that is not on the list. How about modern catalogues? Those will be in demand after we are gone so we should start saving them.
Take a look and let me know what you have.
Your humble Librarian,
Harvey
HAVE YOU ------
Harvey:
Last month I purchased a book entitled "HOW TO DISASSEMBLE, CLEAN, AND REASSEMBLE VINTAGE BAIT CASTING FISHING REELS" by the author Joe Matalavage. In eMail discussions with the author, he offered to provide a free copy for our ORCA library. He sent it to me with my copy. He was not aware of ORCA so I updated him somewhat.
After the xmass mail rush, I will send you this book, and as our Official Librarian, maybe you could send him a note of thanks. Merv has also obtained a copy, and he and I sort of agree on the contents as being good for somebody just getting started. Maybe good for teaching aide. I could have used it when one of my grandsons was trying to rebuild a pflueger rocket.
Also, I have some Bronson/Coxe Replacement Parts lists that are originals that I could send along, but would ask if you could copy, and maybe send back the originals. They are not in the best of condition. I don't have or have experince with a Scanner, but these could be probably scanned if you are able to do for the Library, instead of mail copies.
Thanks for all you work. Hey, isn't it time for your Christmass Tree!
Dale.
ps: I also have a few old reel Ads for Bronson and Hendryx. Would these be of interest for the Library?

Dale,
The answers are as follows:
I will.
Yes
Send them
It's about time
yes.
As for the content of the Library files, I will enter anything that I think would be of interest to others. Heck, I even have a picture of Phil White and Stu Lawson for those who have critters that invade their collections. Phil's works good on mice while Stu's is best for Silverfish and other things with more than four legs.

I have a proposal for some unknown person that may be out there.
If you will donate a nice copy of a 1916 Pflueger Catalog to the ORCA library, I will pay you $100.00.
You send the copy to Harve and get credit for the contribution and I will send you the $100.00 just as soon as I get the word from Harvey.
