Do I have Leprosy? Is there a Doctor in the House? Teal?
There have been 39 views on the Bronson/Shakespeare?/Schmid lawsuit string with nary a reply. Have I offended someone? Doctor Todd? I figured you might read a post that mentioned a statement made by you.
Any clarification?
Anyone? ... Anyone?

Hi Dave
Dave,
Rest assured it is not because you have leprosy...I am in the middle of the North Woods of MN right now, my father-in-law has 28.8 dial-up modem and a 233 mhz Pentium III. It takes 15 minutes to compose an email. I imagine a lot of people are in my situation...
Now that we are on the subject of Bronson, when I return I want to email you some pics of the reels in question with the three marked Schmid patent dates on the foot...the lawsuit is covered in depth in an upcoming issue of the Reel News. I haven't delved into Bronson too much but I will poke around and see if I can come up with anything on Schmid.
Cheers,
Dr. Todd

Dr. Todd: Now you know how we suffer out here in rural Idaho. They put up a wireless tower about 4 miles from our home last Spring, but since we have a hill between us and the tower we can't get their signal. There is also a tower across the lake from us that covers the towns on the North side of the lake. Due to the tall trees in front of our place, we can't get that signal either. It's an $800 satellite signal or nothing. The first connection I got a few minutes ago was 21.6. I redialed and am now on at 28.8. Whoopee!
It took me 35 minutes to download a file I received by email last night. If I want to update a program I have my son download it and bring it over when they come for a visit. Oh well...

Hey Milt!
From what Dave says about Bronson, the "Welcome to Bronson" and the "Leaving Bronson" signs are on the same post, just on opposite sides.
(Yet I bet they pay hin a 6 figure amount to be "Mayor". And the first number is crooked!)
And the Historical Society closed when the legs rotted of the Gossip bench in front of the post office.
When the three migrant workers show up in the fall to pick apples, the population is doubled.
Yatta, Yatta, Yatta!

Hey Warren - I think I'll let you have KC. After 48 years here, the quail wouldn't know what to do if I didn't go out and feed them every day. And you'd catch too many of those bass - they'd get smart. I guess I'll just have to tough it out.You have me crying for the terrible conditions that you live in. Being the nice guy that I am, I would trade you my nice home here in Kansas City (I'll even throw in my high speed computer) for your place out in those nasty woods by that bass infested lake. Deal?
Warren Platt
Merry Christmas, Phil
