Reels/Lures

I was referred to this website to see if anyone would be able to help me. I have about 8 reels that belonged to my father. I'm trying to see if there is any value in them or if there is a market for them. Here is what I have:

Red ABU Ambassadeur, No 5000 AB.URFABRIKEN SVANGSTA SWEDEN
Cardinal Black Max, ABU Garcia Ultra Light
Zebco UL4 Classic, feather touch, trigger spin, small and silver
Cardinal 752 ABU Garcia
Garcia Mitchell 300C, says made in France, black and a bit heavy
Garcia MItchell 330, similar to one above
Zebco 33, 10lb line
Garcia MItchell301, looks like it was used alot, paint is chipping around the top that swivels

I would love to have any information on these reels. I also have a box full of fishing lures. Their some of the craziest and some quite ugly, fishing lures...

Hi, guest...your dad was either ambidextrous or just liked to pretend to be right handed...the 301 is the left hand version...i believe all the others are RH. You have some good fishing reels there, but unless mint in the box, there isn't likely high collector value. The Ambassadeur might have a following...check the number...if it has one, it will be on the under side of the rod seat...that will give an estimate of the date. If you want to send me pics (), I'd be happy to post them here for you. I would also love to hear more about the lures...sometimes the really ugly ones are the real winners!

Thanks for your response. I never knew there were right handed and left handed reels. Yes, my dad was ambidextrous. I"ll try to post some pics this evening and sort out the fishing lures and see what I have.

THanks again.
