Montague Trade Reels

Post by bassman77 »

Could anyone direct me to the names used by Montague for their raised pillar reels prior to merging with Ocean City? I know I have seen this list, but heck if I can find it.

Thanks,

Mel,
Phil has a list of names on his Old Reels web site. Here's a link:
http://www.oldreels.com/generic.htm

That might be what you were looking for.

Mel,
If it will help, I have made a list of over 200 names used by Montague on their casting/utility reels, but have not included if they are raised pillar or not. Some names are used on both raised pillar and round reels. They also used the same names on nickel plated brass reels, npb or german silver reels with hard rubber and other combinations. It staggers the imagination.
Alyway, let me know if you would like a copy of the list.

Mel, I will get one in the mail to you ASAP. Harvey also wants one for the ORCA library.
