After everybody was packed up and gone,
Jim Shottenham, myself, John Ganung and maybe a couple others were still around. I was returning from my car and was met on the front porch by a guy, long hair, very unkept, and a beard to match. I had watch him wander up thru the woods and it was my thinking that there must be a bridge somewhere down there and he had just awaken and was heading for his first beer. "Can anybody look at some lures for me?" 'Sure, where are they" he stated he would go get them and be back. Off thru the woods he goes. Twenty minutes, he returns with maybe a half a dozen lures. Jim and John tell him what they were. All local made lures. Best thing, a couple were valued at around $200.00 by John and nobody was around to attend an auction. We felt it wouldn't be fair just to make him an offer with so few people so we advised him to take them home and hang them on the wall.
