Interested in Terry reels

Post by SilasTerry »

Interested in all Terry reels - usually small brass or plated single action or ball handle (not always) double multipliers. Foot usually has patent date of November 14, 1871 stamped into it. Some may say "Terry Clock Company" or "Chapman and Son".

Thanks,

Dan did have some impressive reels on display. I was most impressed with the tiny reel close to the middle of the display. It is the one with the ivory handle. It is stamped with the Terry patent. It looks smaller than a 25 yard reel - possibly about a 15 yard size! Very cool! Some very nice reels in there. Anybody out there have some Terry's to add to this collection? If so, let Dan know. This is a nice collection that should continue to grow. Thanks for sharing with us Dan!
