I didn't tranlate, but a Russian internet friend did:

First pic.:
Trade mark at left -- "Price 15 RUR" (roubles) & the code of item "1447-U" -- The sign of quality (CCCP=USSR) at right.
Second pic:
Name of the reel, Dolphin-10.

There was Dolphin, Dolphin-6, Dolphin-M etc.

Below the quoting from old article. For *the time* these reels were good. Specially from a series of "Orion".

Quote:
The inertialess reels with an open spool — KBS-171, LEMZ, «Dolphin», «Orion-001» etc... As best of them longly was considered LEMZ — light, reliable, convenient in operation, low-budget. Its most essential oversight — friable spool, exacting the very careful reference... Besides the fishers often change the form of a nut for the brake, sawing off «whiskers», for which one sometimes falls a line.
The reel «Orion-001» is very good, the truth, there is some expensive for the fisher-fans. It is refined, has a light course; in it the anti-corrosion materials are applied; the successful form of a spool easies of departure of line at runaway. However in a package and this reel no a reserve spool.
«Dolphin» too under the right is recognized by one of the best inertialess reels. All its details are executed with major accuracy, the mechanism works smoothly, the high capacity of a spool enables to use a line of dia up to 0,6 millimeters. The reel is suitable for catching a very large fish by a bimanual spinning (for one-manual it is some weighty)

Hey, great information, thanks a lot, highly appreciated !
Sure will keep looking for the other ones he mentioned.
Don't see them very often on Ebay.

What about that word in the middle, to the left of 1447? Just sounding it out, I make it to be Arti-something. Artist, Artesia...

Its been twenty years since I took Russian but I am pretty sure that word is "article" as in "Article 1447-Y".

Cheers,

Now that we are all learning some Russian language
Any idea what KATYWKA means ?
I have this mentioned on an other Russian reel and box I have.
The same word is mentioned on a friend reel and the leaflet that goes with it. Would KATYWKA be a brand name, or is it Russian for spinning reel ? Jean-Paul
Here's a picture of my KATYWKA :
