All you Penn experts--Date this

Post by Harvey »

This was with a bunch of stuff that the X-Librarian sent me. No date!
In reference to the thread about the Penn Sea Ford, it does show that reel with others. All are FOUR Pillars. If someone can date it, I will add it to the library files as such.
Thanks,
Harvey

Just to be clear, a defination of an EXPERT is as follows:
"X" is a designation of an unknown value and "SPERT" is a drop of water under pressure!
Thanks guys and any help will be noted on the entrie.

1935

I have always been told a expert was a guy from out of town.

I have mine listed as 1935
the 1933 has the Model F on front
the 1936 has the Senator on front
I do not have a 1934 but my 35 has the same info as yours

Why not list it as "1934 or 1935" or "probably 1935" so that the date isn't engraved in stone before we're absolutely certain? Ten years from now, someone may be arguing that the "1935" brochure he got from ORCA is different from the 1935 brochure up for sale on eBay, so the eBay item has to be a fake.

OK! In order to quell any futher uprisings and protect the Librarian from a chance of being tarred and feathered, how about marking it as "1935 (?)".
Does that satisify the masses?

Expert

Bruce,

The best definition I ever heard of the term "expert" was from my buddy's 90 year old father:

Expert: Some son-of-a-***** in a suit from the head office.

Cheers,

Dr. Todd
