Here it is Sept. 4 and haven`t heard a peep about our beloved Reel News.
How about it Richard ? I`m sure Labor Day will get in the way. . .

The Reel News went to the local post office a week ago today. With luck and a strong wind at the back of your letter carrier, I suspect it will be in your mail boxes this week, or next, or the next. This issue is a good one, with a great piece of research by Todd Larson on the Skilton Tackle Co., an informative piece by Bob MIller on Pflueger materials and finishes, more South Bend saltwater reel info from Jim Madden, educational pieces by Stu, Milt, Ben, book reviews by Roger and an auction report from Jim Schottenham that is chock full of great reels of all kinds. I hope your copy arrives soon and that you find some interesting things to read. And, as always, I am open to submissions from ALL ORCA members, including photos of your "wowsers" and stories about how you found an interesting reel - or a whole box of them.
Tight lines,
Richard
