Merv: that might be a bag for the reel discussed by Doug Brace in the Reel News, January 2005, p 15. It was a Japanese spincaster assembled here in the US by Penn.

I wonder if this is a tackle store's generic reel bag- I've seen some from British tackle suppliers which were marked with the name of the firm, rather than the name of the reel. I don't do Japanese :? - anybody out there who can translate?
