Information on a Daiwa Gold Gs-3

Hi, I have a bran new Daiwa Gold GS-3 reel in it's original box with recipt, warrenty card etc. I have found out Daiwa about 5-6 yrs ago did a remake of the gold series and they retailed starting at 250.00. If anyone has any info on this reel please tell me.

Hi

They only made the GS series for a couple of years so eventurally they will be worth something. The only one I have found so far is the GS-9 and it is a great reel.

Some time ago I made a study of the Daiwa Golden Series.
It is not a complete list as I based it on the catalogs I had available.
A number of these are still being made today or have been re-issued a number of times since they first came on the marked. The Daiwa GS-9 is still a big seller today, virtually unchanged this reel has been on the market for over 30 years !
The made from date can (and probably will) be earlier, these are the dates I have found. If someone has some Daiwa catalogs that can add data (reel types/years/...) to the list below, please post here.
