anybody have a vintage bamboo boat rod thet are intersted in selling?

Define vintage boat rod what it would look like. How long, type of seat etc. I may have what you are looking for.

kim i am looking for a bamboo rod that was made for saltwater or heavy freshwater they would be 5' and stout or longer the reel seat would be german silver in those days hope is enough info. thanks for the reply

This one I have is about 9' w/4 sections. I've seen them now and then but not lately. Good luck in your search...

I have a 5' H-I Chesapeake (somehow the H-I decal was placed over the script model name). They called this a weakfish rod.
wraps and finish are certainly original.
I'm sure its plated rather than NS.
It has a slight set.
Otherwise, condition is EX.
$50 plus shipping?
it's a nice rod

looks like I was too late for Johnny - anybody else interested?
This is the right size rod for a 100- or 150-yd. salt or service reel.
(Pflueger Bond, Norka, Rocket, Beacon, Pontiac, Shakespeare 1944, etc.)

I you were asking me about my pole send an email. Rod is closer to 12', no name on it. Red agate guides knurled black wooden handle and old stlye tip. Thanks.
