Malleson Fly reel 2 1/4" looks like a Philbrook/Leonard

Post by Ron Mc »

I posted these photos for Paul on Clark's board, so I'll post his question here, as well.
Hello All, I have this reel trying to get a value on it and work a deal.IT is best quality and pretty scarce It is from 1880-90 raised pillar GS/HR it is almost the same as a Philbrook/Leonard from about the same time.Malleson worked with Conroy in new york in the 1880s. the reel engraved with owners name, probably presented to her. if someone will post a pic or two for me I will send a pic to them, Thanks in advance & Best, Paul
