Well maybe not. At least that's what Dr. Todd tells me. I'm the "son of one of Pflueger's most important reel designers" that Dr. Todd mentioned in the thread on "Hey! Pflueger Article in Akron Beacon Journal!" http://reeltalk.orcaonline.org/viewtopic.php?t=4173

And, I thought that I'd share a couple of pictures of one of those run of the mill gold plated Supreme reels. They're not the best pictures, I'm going to have to retake them, I think :D

I played a bit, re-taking the pictures, but I'm afraid that my digital camera is not good at closeup detail. But, the 2nd image has been changed.

GREAT reel. Better pics would be nice, but man what a beauty!
