sidemounted closed face spining reel

I bought a side mounted closed face spinning reel at a yard sale. It is in great shape, has One line Denver Colo_USA on the face. On the back it has WRIGHT & McGILL CO DENVER.COLO.USA MODEL 10-BC. aLSO THE PATENTNNO 2,630,979 is found on the mount. I haven't had any luch on finding any thing about this reel on the internet. It is an unusual configeration. Can anyone give me some infro on it?
