a brass reel

I have what appears to be an old brass reel with an ivory or bone handle.The reel has no name on it ,but it has a fish stamped inside of the foot.It came to me with a nice leather case that mounts to ones belt.open for offers or any info. anyone may have. thankyou and happy holidays to all.

Very hard to tell without a picture (of the reel and the box).
Size ?
I know a number of companies having a fish symbol as a mark, so for now it's guessing really
