Here is a fairly nice Shakespeare Standard Professional #1753 HC (1938). Mechanically I would grade it a 9. The click is strong and the rolling drag works well also. It runs real smooth. I would grade it an 8 in appearance. It has some brassing showing through in a few places, especially on the non-handle plate side where the name and model are stamped. There is a small crack in the hard rubber next to the rolling drag. Other wise this reel is in great shape. I cannot find a listing for this later reel so I will list it for $65 shipped.
