hey im new to this i have a old mitchell 900 im told its a very rare reel any thaughts on how rare and what it might be worth any help would be apreciated its made in france

Welcome! Ben Wright's book on spinning reels shows the 900 with a value of $65, so you won't put the grandkids thru college with it. However, it's not as common as most.

thanks for the reply i was just wondering i didnt expect it to be priceless ive had it since i was a teen and im 47 now so i would say close to about 30 yrs old i think i was 17-18 when it was given to me i had a 302 years ago but it disapered thanks again
