Neat Early Pre-1900 Brass Reels and other English Stuff FS

Post by Jeff Kieny »

I am selling my small collection of OLD European fly and 'casting' reels, (mainly Victorian era English reels) including Birminghams, marked Farlow, marked Bernard, marked Dingley, marked Mc Pherson (Scottish) spool latch stops, slide bar stops, Nottingham star-back and some nice unmarked trade reel examples.

Note: NONE are high $$ reels; I have NO Hardy and NO clamp or spike reels FS.

Also have a selection of English 'go-with' stuff that makes for nice display items.

For photos/info. please email me at

I will be tied up for the most part in the evenings and will be in and out over the next several days so please be patient. I will happily reply to all email inquiries but maybe not right away.

I promise to answer emails in the order they are received. Sales will always go to the first person confirming via email by saying "I'll take it" and furnishing a delivery address regardless of the inquiries out on a specific item. I WILL consider offers.

Note depending upon your item(s) I will ADD for shipping costs - insurance mandatory on any sales over $100 and at your option for sales less than that...

I hope you find something you like.

Several of These Items Pictured on past NFLCC Magazine Cover!

Refer to the front/back cover of your June 2004 issue. Just an interesting factoid. Always fun to have a piece that's been published.

Thanks for your interest.
