Old Pal Reel-lectric 1000

Hello, While I was at lunch today I decided to stop by the local pawn shop to look around and found a old electric fishing reel. It's a Old Pal Reel-lectric 1000 and it is in its own plastic case, charger and 2 batteries and extra spool. Any info would be great. Gary

Catfishhunter, I have one of the Old Pal Reel-Lectric 1000 spin reels and I think it is very cool. The reel has three speeds depending on how far the button on top is pushed down. Does the carry case include a small plastic liftout lure tray? The lure tray sits on top of the reel. The reel is listed in my 1967 Old Pal catalog. Of course value depends on condition including whether the batteries & charger are still good. Mint condition value is between $200-$250. Randy

Thank's for the information. The tray is missing and everything else is in near mint condition. I havn't tried to charge the batteries and see if it work's yet. I will try and post a picture...
