Post by chappy012 »

Hello all,
I have some old reels I got when my father passed and I wuld like very much if someone could help with them, first I have a montgomery wards sport king automatic fly reel model number 61 . 60-6433 also a montgomery wards sport king bait casting reel, I can tell this thing is old because the line is not mono-filiment its cotton or something model number 60-6325 finally a garcia mitchell 300 open face, mind you all these reel are in very good shape as my grandfather was very proud of his gear. Thank you very much for your time and I would appreciate any help that could be given

Chappy: the best news on value for these reels is to go to Ebay and check the completed auctions. However, your reels would be best kept for sentimental value, since $ values are in the $15-25 range, even in ex condition. The mitchell 300 is still a great reel to take fishing and I can't think of a better tribute than for you to put it back to work!
