Gas at the local Shell station today is $3.49 Nuff said

Well, Dave..in San Diego, that's the lowest we've seen in over a month...we'd be "happy" with that at the moment! ...and that's really 'nuff said

Here in Des Plaines, IL it's $3.55. Reports that in downtown Chicago $4.19.

Seen on the news tonight that they were complaining in NYC because gas was $3.27. ?

jump usa We took a fishingtrip this date, and gas was $3.29.9 in Amherst however in Ashland Ohio I got it for $3.05.9 all the stations had that price except BP OIL they were $3.39.9 It certainly has raised problems for the Charter Boats, even when they get a rebate from the governments on road tax their fuel is $3.87.9 at the marina Docks! No the marinas wont allow gas caddies , you must get the marina to pump it! And desil is actualy less than Gasoline at this time! They say it will hit $4.29.9 my july 4th 2007! NUTS! Less than five years ago regular in Atlanta at the BP station was 89.9 cents (really). Reason? More inventory than demand. Now regular is over $3.00. Reason? More demand than inventory. Gosh! Sounds like one of those supply and demand things. Who do you figure is using all that gas? Surely not us!

When I left Salisbury, NC on May 15th it was $2.99, $2.69 in VA, $3.59 in western surburbs of Chaicago, and $3.39 in Janesville, WI.

We are at the equivalent of around US$3.70 per gallon here in Toronto (CAN$1.08 per liter). I anticipate a 20% increase in coming weeks based on west coast prices that are headed our way.

I am thinking about how much it would cost to drive 426 miles each way Toronto-Dowagiac vs frequent flyer points to Chicago or closer and rent a car. The gross travel time is about the same.

I left Bronson early last Friday morning with just under a half a tank of gas. The price in Bronson was $3.38 and I knew Sturgis would be cheaper, they are often times 20 cents less than Bronson. I was wrong. Every station was higher than Bronson. When I got to Dowagiac I really needed fuel, the price? $3.38.
