sears reel

Hi was recently given another old reel. It is a Sears reel. It says Sears Roebuck and CO. on the side. The right side is red looks as if the left side should be as well, Cant tell if the plate is missing, Decrease and Increase button is on the left. It is a baitcaster. THe serial number is as follows model 535 39660. dont expect it to be worth very much but would love to know when it was manufactured. Any parts available. Finally, could someone advise me of any web sites dedicated to old fishing rods. thanks.
