BS'er nominee for July

Post by RAM »

My vote for BS'er of the Month goes to our local wine critic in Nashville (weekly column) who wrote the following describing the "palate" of a particular Petit Sirah (as opposed to a Gros Sirah?):

"Lots of alcohol, but fruit flavors came through. Green fruit and eucalyptus merged with the strawberry flavors."

Further described the aroma as:

"Deep cherry, deep strawberry, candied orange, cola and earthy fruit."

Say which? This guy is good!

How is this: "The reel boasted a surprising aura of complexity for a non-levelwind model, while simultaneously virtually exuding a mesmerizing Old World patina hinting of a glorious past. A subtle, yet distinctly defining, nose of dried grease merged with a hint of vintage whale oil. All considered, a notable offering and certainly worth the suggested retail price of $22.99." Bad Bob
