Latham bound!

Post by Phantom Fisher »

We'll be there Thursday evening on. Bringing some nice EVH salmon reels and tons of other stuff. Always looking to buy or trade for early New York reels and anything by J.B. Crook (including lures and paper).

It should be a blast! And a nice change from driving to Michigan.

Laurie!

Way Cool! I look forward to seeing you in New York (even if you did dis Michigan!). I trust Ben has all the roads shoveled cuz I'm hoping to get in Thursday night without incident!

I am bringing an eclectic array of stuff, including some later East Coast type reels you may need to coach me on. I also have some very nice Shakespeare GS reels from the Teens and early Twenties, and a 1910 ish Chimney Box for the "New" Shakespeare Service. I'm even throwing in a couple Red Nobbies for those folks who like the newer stuff!

Hi, Lenny!

It will be great to see you again. I wasn't dissing Michigan, just the long drive. Round trip by myself -- twice! -- was a bit much. If it happens again, do you have a spare room to rent?

Please bring your duplicate reel tools. I'm sure we'll find a bunch to swap.

Clear path!

Post by Jim Schottenham »

I took out the snowblower and cleared a path from all directions, so the roads are clear and open for business. Lucky for us, we have plows that clear the snowy stuff away on the roads that I didn't do personally.
See ya in a day or two!

Four or Five o'clock, depending on when the crowds thin out, or, as long as it takes me to load all the stuff I'll want to buy into my truck!

Boy, You guys really tick me off! Here you are getting
ready for a show, telling each other what you got or want,
talking about the beautiful snow cover and here I am,
stuck in Florida, 80 degrees, beach full of bikinies, looks
like another boring weekend.

Darn!

Yo, Harvey!

Harvey, we miss you!

Sorry to hear you've had such a rough winter. Happy to send you a snowball or two. Or maybe another Shakespeare care package ... although Bonnie's tackle-box miscellaneous is really next on the agenda.
