To take my mind off the show, I decided to venture out in our 74 degree Idaho weather. I walked 125 steps from our front door and entered "the jungle". I had caught a my first bass of the year yesterday and had hopes that things might perk up with the warm weather. On the third cast, and in about 2' of water I got a nice strike on my Herb's Dilly. After a nice struggle, it turn out to be a 3 pound largemouth. A few minutes later there was another, and then another, and finally five of them between 2-3 pounds. It was great!
Sorry guys, I forgot about the reels, snow, and ORCA. I think I'll forget about them tomorrow too.
