Puzzled in Music City

Post by RAM »

Why is that an army of the the "Worlds Leading Scientists" kept warning us for the past twenty five years about global warming but no one payed any attention to them, yet Al gore, who has all the charisma of an aardvark (but none of its gracefulness) has managed to get everyone's attention in just eight months?
Surely the Dekemeister can tell us!

PS-The lower case G in Gore was NOT a Freudian error but merely poor typing! BB

BB...I was more worried about the "Y" in payed..must be a hidden meaning there.

(edit alert...ok, let's tone it down, Deke)

In any event, it's all in the timing, eh? ...But you remember when W's daddy was calling Al "Ozone Man"...well, that was 1992, BB...quick math...hmmm..15 years..and I'm guessing we could give Al a few years more cushion...perhaps your hate for the Poor Little Rich Kid on the hill might be crimping the time line, eh? :D

Personally I think global warming is a direct result of all of us sitting on our computers. These things put out some heat. Good thing Al helped us all have a reason to sit on here all day, since he *cough* invented the net  , the average global temperature has risen 20 degrees so far! So I guess we can blame all this warming, where ever it is it snowed here yesterday, directly on the man himself...Time to give the prize back!

We have over a foot of snow in many of Idaho's mountains. It's the heaviest recorded October snowpack in a great many years. Snow in the mountains is great. Snow down here in the valley is a no-no.

when it's contrary to global warming (nee climate change) theory, it's called weather.

when it supports the theory, it's climate change data.
