WTB early Japanese Olympic 81

Post by snoekjaeger »

Hi,
I just got this Olympic 85, an early Japanese copy of the Italian Zangi, note the date on the warrenty card...
Now I am looking for an early Olympic 81, this is a copy of the Mitchell 300, the Olympic 81 followed the design of the Mitchell's, half bail, full bail etc. So I think there is an early Olympic 81 out there with a half bail, I have seen one a long time ago if I remember correctly.
I would look nice next to the 85 on the display..
Any other early Olympic copies also appreciated, please let me know what you have, even if it is not for sale. Jean-Paul

B.t.w. the box is covered with red velvet and the blue inlay is some kind of satin/silk with an orange ribbon to hold the reel...
fancy fancy fancy ...

First off let me say that I'm not trying to be critical of you - but this is not fair:
I only sell reels if the price is right. And I rarly give out prices, only taking offers.
You obviously have a price in mind or you wouldn't know when the "price was right". You are asking members of ORCA to price your reels. If you want a big price, ask it, and anyone who wants to pay it can do so. If you just want an auction, put it up for sale on eBay.

Sorry guys on asking for offers, but I have no idea what the value of this reel is. For reels that I know of value, I will say so.
