How hard will this reel be to find, and what should I expect to pay? Thanks, Larry Moellman, Missouri

:( :!:  :type: The one in Kansas has the jewle out of the bearing cap on the tail plate, so that would be a $7-9 item if you can find it! My est on that reel in its 4-5 conditon would be 7 to 8 dollars tops as a prts reel and your postage will add a lot more, Reel in the big ISLAN in the pacific is a 2-3 at best about 36 as a parts reel , a decent hanel will run 7-12 dollars if you can find it and a total clean and lube and rebuld add at least $12.00 and postage plus parts! Advise ? run away frome both of them too costly to rework. Col. m. Lorens aka SWIM JIG best bet is place a wanted in the for sale wanted colume in our reel talk side Our members will most liky have a decent one for sale, A bad reel is like sour milk NO GOOD! Why dont you join ORCA? one of the best investments you will make as our Mag and members always help other members!

'Ole Larry is already a member, in fact, he was part of our 3 way display in Dowagiac last year of all those Indiana reels (Anybody have any they don't want anymore?). I think I've got his request covered, I just can't remember if my #206 is in the kinda shape he wants (I think it is, but I can't remember right now)
Can I apply for early Geezer status? If it helps, I'll most likely forget to look for the reel when I get home tonight...that's gotta count for something!

Jim,

Just a guess, but if you can still count, Harvey, Phil and Steve will vote you out - count on it! I probably would too but I can't remember your name.

Hey, Hey, Hey! I don't want to belong to that club!
(Even though I did design the Patch!)
