Why didn't someone think of this before? If Daylight Saving Time really does save energy by moving your clock up 1 hour (next Sunday), then if you set it up 2 hours you will save TWICE the energy!
Write your Congressman today! Earth is heating up! There is no time to waste!
Bad Bob (Would this qualify me for the Nobel Peace Prize? Your vote next year appreciated!)
Great energy saving idea!!!

My two hour DST idea has already been shot down by Big Al. He says that if we set the clock up two hours instead of one, it might save more energy, but that extra hour of sunlight will more than offset the savings by exacerbating the global warming problem. So, Dave O., if we have it year round worldwide that extra sunlight in the winter would have the polar ice melting even faster. I'll have to come up with a better idea to win the Nobel. Hmmm! Back later.
Freezing in Nashville waitng for heavy snow tonight. Dang this global warming! Bad Bob
PS: When we set the clock up are we really saving daylight? Inquiring minds want to know!
