regina-open face spinning reel-made in germany-any history?

just bought a regina open face spinning reel that says made in germany. 3/4 inch red circle with 2 crowns inside, one pointing up the other down. the spool has drag markings in german and english. The reel finish is black- very similar to the early dam quick reels. Does any body know any history on this
