Yes John, Penn prices are going up.

Toyman, are you -->tripperdog1<-- on EBay?

You got a good deal on the lot. The Ike Walton was worth the buying price.

The reels in that lot all looked green and incredibly dirty. Will they clean up to look very nice?

I didn't think one could even get a decent look at any reel individually as all the shots were as a group and from fairly far away.

Toyman, definately take some before and after shots for us to look at.

Thanks!

Will do, I didn't even notice the auction up to 1/2 hour before it ended. I just slapped it with $50 thinking it would outbid.

This is a good deal, but not the best one this week.

Here's the link of the other one we got.

broken ... :IT&ih=018

It's a good Deal. If you know what it is. Lets see if anyone knows besides me.

Yes the name is Tripperdog1 (which is my uncles account)

And Toyman1006 is my account to auction of items. Sometimes I forget to log out when buying.

Hello Toyman, thanks for verifying your EBay user name. It is always good to put a name to a name.

A good deal, but I like the Pflueger Faultless 60 yard model I got last week for $50 as best deal on EBAY.

The Everlast was made by Dam. I have a much older, much smaller aluminum Everlast reel. A good deal, but I like the Pflueger Faultless 60 yard model I got last week for $50 as best deal on EBAY.
Faultelss for 50 bucks? You want to tell us more about that? Link to auction?

Hi Joe, Don't think you could quite call it an auction or "on ebay": Faultless

Yes, it was on EBAY that I found it. I asked the guy how much he wanted for it to end the auction. He replied that he wanted $10. I gave him $50 plus postage and it cleaned up beautifully! He got 5 times what he wanted, I got 5 times what I paid for (at least) and everybody is happy. Don't you just love EBAY?

I have pictures, but can't seem to get them on here now. I am in the midst of a slight bout of landsickness (I try to walk straight and go right 90 degrees. I try to type a "G" and sometimes hit the number lock. It goes away in about 8-12 hours...some call it vertigo, I call it landsickness, only happens after a full day on the water) after being out fishing for the past 4 days. Will try again on pics later.

Richard--- I could care less if you play this game. I've been around way too long and seen way too many things happen in the world of collecting to let these sneaky deals bother me. And I'll be the first to admit that I'm no saint either. But please spare me your moans and groans the next time this, or something similar, happens to you.

:? :(   gggggggggggggeez...I guess Richard said so, so it must be.

I guess there are those that will do whatever it takes to add a wanted reel to their collection including paying too much and then there are those who are just to lazy to ask the simple question "How much?" Nothing wrong with being motivated, since I can't afford to pay too much.

Hey John, it worked...ggggggggggggggeez

Well, everyone is happy except Joe. I guess I should have said both seller and buyer are happy and who give a $&[at](? about any one else?

I just purchased this great find today! (Got it a little cheap) But I'm Happy! I do have another Box in Mint Shape- Just needed the spool and Reel.

Hello Reelman,

Good Luck on the bidding. $250 would surprise me.

Surfmaster's are great reels. For collecting purposes look for the 151 and the 201. They are much more rare.

M3040c, when you list your reels. You should also list them as vintage reels. I tend to check vintage listings more than other listings.
