I just bought this on eBay, and would like to find out what was originally included in the box.
When I received it there was a 4 ft. 3 in. tubular steel Richardson "All Star" rod, a Shakespeare Acme 1904 reel model HB, a R/W Shurstrike bassoreno type w/GE, and a fish scaler marked "Speed Scaler". I don't know that all of these are original and I suspect I am missing a couple things to make it complete (like a spool of line and maybe another lure). I suspect that the outfit is a late thirties/early forties vintage.
Would anyone have a catalog or perhaps a magazine advertisement for this outfit that shows the contents of the box? Thank you all for looking!
