Penn Senator 3/0 mint

Anyone need a mint Penn Senator 3/0? Picked up 1 in a poor box (missing boxtop) & including only typically folded 32B catalog, copyright 1969. Its got a green marblelized knob & appears to never have had line or been mounted on a rod. Looks perfect. Works perfect. Sorry, no digital camera. Please make offer.

Yes it is "like this one" except for those aspects I mentioned & my 3/0 is spotless.

That fleabay seller would no doubt think my 3/0 would already "glow in the dark from the shine of the chrome".

However I should warn readers that a not so rare instant of loss of self-control means I need offers over $50 for this never used mint gem. Looks like its getting popular to be "heading away from Penn".

Hello John,

The one on EBay, that you did not buy was a early-pre 1950 model. Sometimes, resisting a urge is not always the best thing.

Yes, I thought so, Mike...it's just that I bought a nice Pfl Avalon and what turned out to be a killer little EVH reel instead! Just gotta pick your poison, eh?
