Post by SWIM JIG »

:o :?    :type: :loco: usa Ok so where is the free time when a man is married? I do work at fishing, thats easy I tell her at $9.00 a lb for Walleye and $7.50 a lb for yellow perch, My fishing is nessary to keep our budget in line! then at tax time she says, why are you taking a tax credit for fuel for the boat? I say , girl with all that air you stir up, can we get a sail boat and you provide that political wind then I wont BUY FUEL thus no tax credit! also she says why are you taking a credit for all that tackle you say is for needed expense when its for your personal enjoyment>? You cannot win so even if we call it spare time is it realy? and what else can we do except fish, hunt and make TENN White Lightning? If de gov dont gits you, de wife will gits you so how and what do you consider spare time? PLESE ADVISE! And you call it FREE TIME? hey Bad Bob, the GOV taxes it the, wife uses it , and we men folk cant find it!

The way I figure it, the sea trout I caught this past spring cost over $150.00/lb., figuring in guide cost, amortizing tackle cost, and pro rating my fishing time share of the expense of the trip to the Gulf.

As to "free time" there are (as of last checking) 24 hours in everyone's day. The answer is to keep priorities in order. Examples:
1) Go fishing
2) Take nap
3) Read good book
4) Take long walk in woods
5) Watch favorite football team
6-187) Clean leaves off roof, rake yard, cover foundation vents, put up hose pipes, clean floors, windows, etc. etc. etc. through 187.

The true measure...

Bob:

Your list is excellent, and of late I can certainly relate to #6. Lots of leaves here!

On this day however, number 1 on that list should be to remember our veterans, to honor their service, to thank them, and yes, to remember them in our prayers. Bless them all.
