I note that the Bearcat - Hawaii Saturday game starts at 9:30 our time. By the time they get through the halftime festivities it ought to be Sunday back in your area. That will make for a long night.

I hope your coach is well warned about pitfalls in Hawaii.

 Telecasts are brutal for Hawaii fans around the country.
Don't worry Dr. Todd, everyone around here is so laid back, it'll be a piece of cake. Mai Tai anyone?

Actually, there's a pretty notable game going on tonight: "Barry" Obama's alma mater will be going after it's first footbal championship in I don't know how many years.

I'm totally juiced up to stay up for the game but will also be watching the De La Hoya-Pacquiao fight. Go Bearcats! And shame on Ball State for ruining what had to be the most entertaining Humanitarian Bowl in history...I am astounded they passed up the chance to play Boise!

I think they just blew the chance of that game having come off when they lost of Buffalo last night.

Karma? Maybe it happened BECAUSE they didn't take the game!

I do know whomever goes into Boise is going to get blasted. I watched the last Boise game where Ian got two TDs in the second half and they looked pretty much unbeatable. I think they'd hammer Utah if the two played.

All I can say is PHEW! Unreal. Hawaii played just great for 50 minutes but looked tired in the 4th quarter. The prevent defense and ball-control offense didn't help and 19 straight points in the 4th quarter is as much a failure of coaching as it is of the kids who played. Still, it was a very fun game and Hawaii has nothing to be ashamed about. I was impressed by them.

Congrats, Dr. Todd. Both for the Bearcat win, and staying up to see the finish. All I know is what I read on line this AM. It was too late for this old geezer.

VERY late night (kickoff was 11:30 pm EST) but just finished watching the Pacquiao-De La Hoya fight with a house full of Phillipinos who were just insanely jubilant over Pac Man's victory. So there was a lot of energy in the house...

Looking forward to seeing Boise win big and to the Orange Bowl UC-Va Tech game.

Caught parts of the game in between some surfcasting at a beach house on the North Shore this weekend. No fish report but it was a fun game to watch!
