Replacing Click Pawl on a Pflueger Summit

I have an older Pflueger Summit (no model number), that has a worn down sliding click pawl.
I have a side plate from a newer Summit, but the engraving is not a match.
Can I just somehow easily replace the worn click pawl?

Steve, can you show the tail side ? this thing is rivited on, not hard to do, however the rivit must be the proper lenght. as for the click part that is worn, those are almost srd. so I see no problem if you have the parts you can do it yourself.
