EvH 6/0 saltwater pre-model no., sliding disc on headplate operates anti-reverse stud, wrench-type drag, ser. no. B357, hardly visible hairline 2-1/2” hairline crack from screw to screw across rear plate, a few tiny dings, otherwise all intact and orginal. Hard-to-find reel will clean very nicely .VG plus $230.00

EvH 6/0 model 501, rim lever-disc operates anti-reverse stud, wrench type drag, leather thumb drag, ser. no. C207, all intact, no cracks, some shallow scratches in back plate HR which will easily polish out, has never been cleaned, filled with old line, will clean to excellent cond. $290.00 EX minus

EvH 521 3/0, anti-reverse studs, wrench type drag, some filing to foot, but only on the sides, two small, repaired chips across back plate foot screws, which will be invisible if the reel is cleaned, crank nut is a well-made replica, otherwise all intact and fine, though a bit dirty. $190.00
VG plus

Evh pre-model no. 2/0, rare early reel, no drag, click on back plate, ‘83 patent date only, tight 5/8” crack across back foot screws, extremely thin silver half-rim band on head plate parted cross-wise at original solder joint, very easily glued, a little dirty, otherwise all fine and intact. $250.00 VG plus

EvH 621 3/0 perforated star drag, owner’s initials stamped on handle, shadow of an obviously missing personalized nameplate (three tiny holes from missing nameplate screws across back plate), leather thumb drag, foot slightly rounded across the end corners, a bit dirty, otherwise intact, will clean nicely. Good fishing or display reel. $140.00 VG plus

“North NY” stamped , probably 1870-80’s era, 2/0 size NP ‘S’-handle-type saltwater reel, no click or drag, cast foot, JvH or FvH -type hard rubber knob handle, nice old rare reel, missing three screws, some soldering at both insides of EvH-type intact foot, which is not visible unless turned upside down, some light corrosion in NP. Displays very well. Gplus $75.00—sold

JvH 3-1/2 size freshwater baitcasting reel, sliding click, HR and NP, some NP worn off, nice rosettes, all intact. Spins like a top, suitable for fishing or display. Nice crisp plates. VG plus—EX minus $80.00—sold

Unmarked HR with NP rim bands 6/0 size saltwater reel with NS double-knob Rabbeth drag, a neat old reel with NS leather thumb drag, long cast foot, much of the NP on the rim bands worn off, a few light dings in the dark black HR, filled with old linen line, a great display and a neat old example of this antique drag system. VG plus $90.00

Unmarked ball-handle reel, heavy brass, 3” diameter plates probably Civil War era or older rare old reel, no click or drag, beautiful antique patina, never cleaned, nicely turned rosewood crank knob, dome-type tailplate bearing, spins like a top, nice crisp edges, very long cast foot. EX uncleaned. $215.00—sold

Cozzone NS and hard rubber 150 yd SW reel, handle nut locking pawl, long, heavy CB handle with nicely turned tulip-style HR knob, will clean to ex-, “Cozzone” mark a bit dim on one side, was evidently stamped that way.
Ex minus $90.00—sold

Old Shakepeare pre-levelwind “Perfect” baitcaster, nickle plated over nickel silver, some of the NP gone, jeweled bearings, two Meek-style sliding disc clicks, old-fashioned turned celluloid crank knob, looks like one screw at rolling knurled pillar may or may not be a replacement, so VG plus in leather unmarked case. Case came with reel and fits perfectly, don’t know if it’s original. VG Plus $65.00

EvH SW 6/0 marked 501 is actually a 621, solid star drag, missing handle, obvious crack across headplate foot screws, foot though unfiled has small crack. Good parts reel for screws, pillars, spool, lever discs, drag wheel, tailplate, internal parts. $60.00

Pflueger Pontiac 200 yd reel with wooden Four Bros Dazie thumbrake. Bulldog logo. Very shiny NP with nice large wooden tulip-shaped knob. Sliding click on tailplate. Some corrosion on spool, otherwise sharp and clean. Ex minus. Unusual reel and braking system $65.00
