I have a nice old casting reel labled "Walter H Shatz" Model G-118.
Can any of the forum members tell me anything about this reel? I am in need of a knurled spindle (?) cap. The reel in in great shape otherwise. Nicely chromed with ivoriod handles.

John, sorry for the delayed response. There's a picture and a little information on the reel on page 8 of the May, 2004, issue of the Reel News. I can send a close-up of the cap if you need it. It's an interesting anti-back-lash concept for sure. Jim
