I am new to this game. Years ago I had a Pflueger Supreme and somehow over the years, it got lost. I found and bought one on e-Bay. Next, I bought a Pfleuger Summit, but I see other Pfleuger bait cast reels advertised and don't know their ranking in terms of quality. Does anyone have a quick ranking they would share with me?
Are there as many different grades of Pflueger fly reels as casting reels?

I think everyone has a different idea of ranking on these reels. Setting aside the earliest historical version of the reels, the Supreme would rate highest if you believe ebay...for me, nothing beats the summit...it's just elegant, as far as I'm concerned. Knobbys don't get much respect either, but I like that reel much more than the Akron, trump, skilkast, or even Supreme...these evaluations are personal and based on esthetics, not fishability...if i went fishing with all of them, I'd probably change my ordering. i like all of them in the freespool versions and collect them mainly.
Lots of Pfl Pfolks on this site with much more learned opinions, so you will hopefully get some dialogue from them.

Hi Richard,
Welcome to the site! Gosh, I think just about everyone would have a different ranking on the Pflueger line of reels. You can start with Bob Miller's "Top Ten" Pflueger reels list, although those are a tad bit hard to aquire...if not impossible.
If you are looking for my personal favorite "whole model lines" of casting reels, post 1930-35ish, I would put them in something like this:
1. I agree with John, as the Pflueger Summit is my favorite.
2. The Supreme would probably come next
3. Nobby
4. Akron
5. Skilkast
6. Trump
7. Trusty
There are way too many models and lines and variations to put them all down in any particular order. You basically have to come up with what you like best for yourself. I know plenty of people that would rate the Supreme or Nobby as their favorite. Well, good luck!
