Don't need the oiler (have one), but just wanted to commend you on the excellent pics-and on the robust rosemary plant in the background!

PS: Looks like a fine-grained granite wall. Correct?

This oiler has been sold.

I have another, just like it, but sans patent dates.

Nameless evergreen????

Post by Richard Lodge »

Dean! I am shocked  shocked, I tell you. You are the guy who noticed the name of the French company on that Castilia's reel handle. I've never know you to miss a trick so I fully expected you to specify the genus and species of evergreen and the region of Saskatchewan from whence that bluestone was quarried!
Your photos are always great so I assumed you had an extensive photo studio, maybe a staff of assistance and agents out in the field digging up shubbery and hauling in just the right color and texture of stone for your photo shoots. I am crestfallen to find that I might be wrong.

Like my wife is always telling me ...I need to expand my horizons.
