Funny how "suffering winter storms" regionally is not evidence against Global Warming & the theory predicts colder Winter temps in continental interior regions. Last year's surprise blizzard in AZ desert got Global Warming Deniers all excited. Trouble was unusual heavy precipitation in the desert was actually evidence of a warmer Pacific. The fact of the matter was that region is often cold enough for desert precipitation to fall as snow, but precip is rare & comes directly off the Pacific.

The world's average ocean temp just hit a new record high & is only expected to go higher, despite a cooler north Atlantic from all the polar ice melt. The Arctic is melting even faster than previously predicted & the Arctic Ocean may become ice free in Summer in as little as 10 years.

Copenhagen is hosting some 15,000 delegates. Wonder how many "took their private jets" & "are driving around in their Limos"? My guess is 99% do not have private jets or limos, most flew coach & far more came by surface transport than the handful you decided to honor. IMO kudos to all those 15,000 for trying. With America's obesity & substance abuse epidemics I'm not worried about how 15,000 delegates in Copenhagen "wine and dine".

It was 75 at midnite here. You realize complaining "Idaho is recording temps 20 degrees below average" apparently isn't even record low temps? Buck up elder angler, its December, you're in Idaho which comes within 100 miles of soon to be glacierless Glacier National Park & Global Warming suggests even colder Winter weather for you.

I don't limit my disdain only to the politicians that went to Copenhagen. I have disdain for all elite politicians that think they know what is best for me and the rest of the world.

Respond if you desire, but I'm through with this discussion, which actually was about the cold weather we are having here, and the coincidence of it occurring during a UN Global Warming conference.

Don't know how many delegates flew there in private jets but do know this: Obama went to Denmark in HIS private jet (Air Force 1) to get the Nobel Peace Prize, then flew back to the U.S. in Air Force 1 to deal with running two wars, then will fly back to Denmark in Air Force 1 next week to lobby for higher U.S. electric bills, then will fly back to the U.S. in Air Force 1 to lobby for a trillion dollar health bill.

Obama will fly to Copenhagen, Denmark for HIS Dec 18 speech at the UN Climate Conference. When you get your every opinion spoon fed directly from Rightwing, War on Science propagandists, you're bound to make such basic errors.

Can we presume the Far Rightwing expects Obama to stay away from the Whitehouse as much as possible, like Bush did hiding out at HIS ranch & just take a week vacation in Europe, maybe bicycle from Norway to Denmark? Whereas, CO2 is not pollution. CO2 is a fundamental component of life on earth ! It is part of the essence of life on earth. Plants thrive on CO2 and sunlight. Plants convert CO2 to Carbon and Oxygen for us to breathe. Humans and animals cannot live without CO2 and plants, and

Whereas, the earth is NOT warming anymore. Recent satellite measurements indicate that the Stratosphere is warming and that the Troposphere is cooling. This means that heat from earth is escaping and not being trapped by greenhouse gases. The temperature is stabilizing if not cooling. A cooling trend is expected to last for the next 30 years or so.

Whereas, the Pacific Decadal Oscillation (PDO), a measure of the temperature of the north Pacific Ocean, that has been positive (warm) for the last 30 years is now reversing and starting to go negative, which will assist in the the cooling for the next few decades, and

Whereas, the Arctic ice, which reached a minimum in 2006, has now recovered to pre 1998 levels. The Antarctic ice as of Nov, 09, has increased by 0.4 million sq. km since measurements started in 1977. and

Whereas, “Global Warming” was renamed to “Climate Change” when the perpetrators realized that the earth wasn’t really warming anymore, and

Whereas, the whole idea of human caused climate change is being perpetrated by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) along with Algore, Michael Mann of Penn State Univ., Jim Hansen from NASA, and Phil Jones, the head of the IPCC Climate Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia in Great Britain, and

Whereas, the predictions of the IPCC have failed miserably over the last eight years. Independent computer models have been unable to duplicate the CRU results, and

Whereas, last month, emails were recovered that exposed the HOAX. Phil Jones and the CRU was “fudging” the temperature to make it look like the earth was warming. On Nov 30, it was revealed that ALL of the raw data was DESTROYED and the only data left was their doctored data. How convenient ! Jones has stepped down, and

Whereas, Russians that stated just before Copenhagen, that their climate data was altered by the HOAX perpetrators at the IPCC.

Therefore, man, in his infinite arrogance and stupidity, has no business trying to control the processes of nature and God.
