Pflueger Egalite fly reel
Hello I was wanting to know value of Egalite in 100yd model. Reel is VG and has the double handle. How long was this reel made? thanks Paul N

The Four Brothers (Pflueger) 100 yard model #1906 Eagalite showed up in catalogs as early as 1906 till about 1935. Not many of these show up in very good condition as they were made of light metal. Conditon is very important to the price and it would be impossible to pin it down exactly even with a good picture. If your not in a hurry, you might search ebay for past sells and compare your reels' condition to those previously sold. I have seen poor ones for under a $75 and excellent ones for over $400. Of course with any auction, there is no precise science to what one item sells for and what the next identical item might sell for. Just depends who is bidding and how much they want it.
