i have a copper telescopic fly rod that has a cork champion rod handle on it. Any value to it or the handle. thanks in advance for any input.

Gerald: I have a casting rod made the same way and by the same company...i'd guess that it's appr. 8-10 inches when collapsed (just leave it alone, Richard) and appr. 5 ft open. Would like to see the fly version...how long is that one when open?

i'm not sure, but I think mine relates to the other post we had re Cu-Beryllium rods...think that's what mine is.

General telescopics do better than many other metal, especially if it is an early Bristol or other make. But that's all relative; very few metal rods have a lot of worth. Impossible to say without pics but most sell between $10 and $20.

yes, that's identical to mine. I agree with Todd re what they demand...unless you can find someone that really wants one...certainly are great little travel rods and not a bad action!
