Just want to show you my salmon gear.
Old E. Vom Hofe 423 6-0 reel (Pat. 79/83)
and my 14' Leonard salmon flyrod.
Can't wait to next season where I hopefully will get a salmon on this gear
Best regards
Jacob

I can't imagine of many things that would be more fun than landing a Salmon on that beautiful rig.

That's a great looking combination and it's good that you're planning to fish it. I hope you hook into a monster salmon and enjoy the ride!

Jacob - before you use it why not apply a litle Dawn dish detergent with a soft toothbrush under running warm water to that handle. It will look like new! Probably smell better too.

Maybe I should try that
Hope that I soon can bring pictures of the flies that shall be used together with this reel and rod
