Do you mean the crank side?...or the other right?

I think mine might be too dark, but can have a look tonight.

Penn uses the "left" and "right" side plate terminology in their manuals so I also used those terms when starting out in collecting. Eventually figured that most use "headplate" for the crank side and "tailplate" for other because older manufacturers used those terms.

Offhand, I believe the head plate for a 349 and a 349 H are the same. The "H" is the designation for high speed. The difference between the reels are the pinion and main gears. The different models were identified with the letters "H" or "C" or both "HC" on the box label and explained in the catalog.

There are different 349 head plates but those are not marked in the logo on the reel's head plate. The convertible models, identified with a "C" on the box and catalog, have the extra convertible lever on the head plate, so their head plates have a extra hole for that lever.
